*Today we celebrate a hinge point event in history.*
The Thursday before Easter is revered among many Christians as Holy (or Maundy) Thursday, commemorating the events of the Last Supper (circa 33 AD): the Passover feast, the washing of feet, the command to love others, and the introduction of the sacrament/eucharist.
After the evening's festivities, Jesus made His way to Gethsemane to begin His perfect, willing Atoning sacrifice.
It is Holy Thursday because He was (and is!) holy, and what He did was holy. Through that holiness, He enabled all of God's children to become holy.
So, today, how will you accept His gift and be little more holy?
